Delete your Running Buddy account

In the app

On Android or iPhone: Profile → Account → Delete account if you signed in, or Delete what Buddy keeps on its server if you didn't. It works at once.

Without the app

Email support@runningbuddy.app from the address you signed in with, or tell us your runner number. We delete your account within one month and write back.

What is deleted

Your account, your runner number, Buddy's AI usage records, your ratings of Buddy's answers, your Help & ideas messages and their screenshots, and the link to your Buddy Plus subscription. Our team's copies of your messages in our support chat go at the same time.

What is kept

Server logs with technical details of requests, for up to 90 days at our hosting provider. App analytics, which are never linked to your account, for at most 14 months at Firebase.

Your runs and settings were never on our server: they stay on your phone, and in Apple Health or Health Connect, until you delete the app or that data. Your Buddy Plus subscription itself is managed by the App Store or Google Play: cancel it there.
